Location : Hamilton Island is one of the 74 tropical islands in the

the largest inhabited island in the Whitsundays, positioned nearly
half way between the coastline of Mackay and Townsville.
Getting There

Hamilton
Island is accessible via Jetstar who offers direct flights from Sydney,
Melbourne, Brisbane and Cairns, with connections from other major cities of
the world.
Alternatively, Virgin Blue Airlines flies daily to Mackay (located on the
mainland 2hrs drive to Shute Harbour). Connecting transfers can also be
arranged via Island Air Taxis.
Getting Around
The resort is conveniently laid out so that everything can be reached
within an easy stroll. A shuttle service operates continuously throughout
the day and early evening and guests also have the option of getting around
the island in motorised golf buggies which are available for hire on an
hourly, half-daily or daily basis.

Whiteheaven Beach half day cruise : Whiteheaven Beach is one of the
most outstanding and unique sandscapes on Earth. It is located on the
eastern side of the uninhabited Whitsunday Island and is definitely an
awesome destination with pristine environment. One can either stroll the 6
kilometres of sand or enjoy other beach activities like swimming in the
crystal clear water, simply basking under the sun, or just experiencing the
nurturing and tranquil surroundings.
Whiteheaven
Beach scenic flight : Helicopter flight takes one on a journey over
Dent, Hook and Whitsunday Islands. This is a once in a lifetime photo and
video opportunity, as one flies over the Whitsunday's countless islands,
resorts and fringing reefs, and world-renowned Whitehaven Beach.
Reef Discovery : This event features a 60 minute return scenic
flight consisting of the views of Whitsunday islands, outer reefs and the
world famous Heart Reef and Whitehaven Beach. The tour also envelopes two
hours at Reefworld, snorkeling and coral gazing from the marine chamber.
White Haven Champagne picnic : Here one will be flown by helicopter
and dropped off on the white silica beach of Whitehaven to enjoy ice-cold
